Traveling Exhibit

Emmett Till & Mamie Till-Mobley: Let the World See is a touring exhibit created in collaboration with the Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley Institute, the Emmett Till Interpretive Center, the Till family, and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. It tells the story of Emmett Till and his mother, Mamie Till-Mobley, challenging visitors to make a ripple for justice in their own communities.

The Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley National Monument

The Emmett Till and Mamie Till-Mobley National Monument was created by President Joe Biden on July 25, 2023. The monument honors Emmett and Mamie's story through sites in Chicago and the Mississippi Delta, including Roberts Temple Church of God in Christ, Tallahatchie County Courthouse, and Graball Landing.

The Mamie Till-Mobley Centennial Initiative

To adequately tell the story of Mamie Till-Mobley, we must go on a journey—across time and place—connecting the Great Migration, the Illinois Central Railroad, Bryant’s Grocery Store, The Seed Barn, Graball Landing and Emmett and Mamie’s journeys, and more in order to give voice to this American journey toward justice and healing. The Till Institute holds this vision that will free generations to come.

Emmett Till Memory Project

The Emmett Till Memory Project (ETMP) is an online platform created to counter vandalism at sites honoring Emmett Till and his mother, Mamie Till-Mobley. In collaboration with the Till Family, the website and app guides users to 23 significant locations. This initiative aims to raise awareness of Emmett's story and the Jim Crow era.
